The factory pushrods in your 4.5L are designed for factory Boost levels and are known to cause valvetrain issues. Safeguard your engine with J&K's upgraded pushrods at no additional charge! These are revised-length pushrods built from superior materials and thicker walls for increased rigidity. By increasing the diameter of the tubing from the stock 11/32 to 3/8, the load is spread over a larger surface area without causing the pushrods to bind with the port of the cylinder head. This larger diameter pushrod will provide almost 50% more loading capacity than the stock 11/32 diameter. These Pushrods are created from Hard-drawn 4130/4135 seamless chromoly tubing, the highest quality available from mills, and initially formulated for aerospace/aircraft use. This is a high-quality pushrod that provides approximately 170,000 psi tensile strength.
