We can add ARP head studs to any 6.7L engine build! The ARP 250-4301 Ford 6.7L Diesel Head Stud Kit is a must-have upgrade for your 2011-2023 Powerstroke. These extra heavy-duty studs are rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength and provide the clamping force required to keep your 6.7L Powerstroke cylinder heads from lifting due to higher combustion pressures.
The ARP Head Studs are manufactured in ARP's Santa Paula, CA plant from proprietary ARP 2000 material. The threads are rolled after heat-treating to provide optimum fatigue strength. They are center-less ground to assure perfect concentricity. Also included in each kit are heat-treated, chrome-moly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers with a black oxide finish for extra durability. The best means to prevent against head gasket(s) failure is by upgrading to a set of ARP Head Studs.
Codenamed the Scorpion during its developmental stage, the 6.7L Powerstroke is Ford’s in-house-built diesel engine for the Ford SuperDuty. Ford chose to design, engineer, and produce its own engine to maintain profitability and a competitive edge in the growing diesel world. This is the first Power Stroke not manufactured by long-time partner International Navistar. We know the Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Engine very well.
